During my 20+ year career as a Child and Youth Worker (CYW), Educator, and Registered Social Worker (RSW), I have supported neurodivergent children, youth, and families with neuro-affirming and relational approaches to care in a variety of settings including special education, hospitals, group homes, and other community settings. I specialize in building strong relationships with children who are struggling with their feelings and behaviour, helping them to develop self esteem, emotional awareness, and connections to others.

I have dedicated much of my career to learning from autistic and neurodivergent experts in the fields of Education, Disability Studies, and Critical Autism Studies. As a late diagnosed ADHDer, my own lived experience informs my service delivery in ways that validate different ways of being in the world. I can empathize with the struggles of teachers, support staff, and students because I have been there!
